Bubbly Babe and Mother of Two Targets a 'Double'

The bubbly actress of the early 2000s, Jyothika, who ruled the roost with hits like Chandramukhi, Mozhi, and amazed with her bubbly roles as well as mature performances in films like Sillunu Oru Kaadhal, Kaaka kaaka, and Pachaikili Muthucharam, went on a sabbatical post her wedding with the versatile Suriya.



However, she made a stunning return to films with 36 Vayathiniley in 2015, which turned out to be a commercially successful venture, and following the movie, she starred in the 2017 flick Magalir Mattum, which ended as a damp squib. However, she has made a striking comeback this year, with her act as a tough cop with a humane side in Bala's Naachiyaar, which has turned out to be a hit.



While basking in the glory of Naachiyaar's success, the actress has already got committed to her next, which will be the remake of the Bollywood feel-good hit Tumhari Sulu that starred Vidya Balan, While this Tamil remake will be directed by Radha Mohan, who gave Jyothika a memorable film in Mozhi, the movie will be bankrolled by G Dhananjayan. It has now been revealed that the makers are planning to simultaneously release the movie in Tamil and Telugu, with Suriya in charge of the Telugu version's release.
