TRADE TALK :: 'Oka Manasu' gets 'Good Opening' but 'Disappointing Talk'
'Oka Manasu' is one of the most anticipated movies in Telugu. The only reason is Niharika. As the 'Mega Princess' is making her debut, the expectations were high. The movie features Naga Shourya and Niharika Konidela in titular roles. This movie also marks the debut of Niharika in Tollywood.
She essayed role of Sandhya, a traditional girl. Naga shourya was seen as an aspiring politician. Rao Ramesh essayed role of Naga Shourya's father. Sunil Kashyap has composed tunes and lyrics are penned by Ramajogayya Sastry and Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar.
The movie is just getting mixed reviews. Even though the movie took an earth shattering opening, the disappointing talk is expected to pull the movie down. Producers Madhura Sreedhar Reddy and Ravi Prakash used Niharika as the selling point.
The movie is expected to take a dip in collections after first weekend. However the makers are promoting the movie aggressively. Social media talks are also completely in mixed manner. Even though it is not a dream debut for the actress, she is happy with the positive critics.
