Kiss Review: Story
Sunny (Adivi Sesh) a happy go lucky guy comes to USA for working with his relatives, but things go awry in USA so Sunny plans to leave USA. Meanwhile, Priya (Priya Banerjee) runs away from her parents due to forced marriage proposal. Sunny accidently meets Priya and save her from suicide attempt. Sunny promises to provide the necessary kick that her life was missing in one day. How Sunny helps Priya to realize the importance of life forms the rest of the crux of the story.
Kiss Review: StarPerformances
Priya Banerjee looks stunning and her performance is lively. She needs to hone her acting skills especially when it comes to expressions. Adivi Sesh has given a composed performance. But none of the other artistes seem to justify their selection.
Kiss Review: Direction, Music & Technical Aspects
Director Adavi Sesh second outing as a director falls flat as he did not have a proper, convincing script in hand. Though the plot is mundane, the director has not been successful in maintaining the feel or adding thrill to the story. The theme of a happy go lucky man fighting against odds to save a girl is a jaded one. As a diretor Adavi Sesh should have done a lot of exercise in the screenplay department. Flash back, Emotional impact and character arc's are not in good taste.Adavi Sesh who has been seen in Pawan Kalyan's Panjaa has taken lot of inspirations from his movies like Saving a girl from Suicide and giving her the confidence (Balu), Using the Nadumu Scenes (Khusi), Leads proposing in Airport (Tholiprema) etc. Music of the film is not up to the mark. All the songs in this film are not shot well. Dialogues are adequate. But few dialogues like Love first kiss ki mundu start avali life long undi povali, Neethulu cheppi nijalu marchaku etc leave theior mark. Editing of the film could have been crispier. Cinematography is mediocre. Productions Values of the film are grand.
Kiss Review: Analysis
First half of the film is boring as it has single thread throughout. Second half is slightly better. The movie suffers from ratty direction and feckless screenplay. Kiss is a hodgepodge of various romantic films garnished with stale jokes. To make matters worse there are very few scenes that arouse laughter that was alleged to be a comedy by its makers. Kindly give this Kiss a miss.
Bottom Line : Kindly MISS this KISS
