Injury During Show Shoot

Reality star and fitness influencer Rajat Dalal recently revealed that he suffered a serious injury while filming the reality show The 50.

The injury occurred on the very first day of the show’s shoot during a physically demanding task.

Despite the pain, Rajat chose not to quit and continued performing throughout the competition.

He later confirmed that the injury involved a significant tendon tear in his right elbow.

Successful Surgery and health Update

After completing the show’s filming schedule, Rajat finally underwent surgery to treat the injury.

He shared photos from the hospital on social media along with his medical reports.

In the pictures, he can be seen resting on a hospital bed with medical support around his arm.

Along with the update, Rajat wrote the motivational line: “Gir girke hi insaan uthna seekhta hai!”

The surgery was successful, and he reassured fans that his recovery process had begun smoothly.

Details From MRI Report

Rajat also posted his MRI report to explain the seriousness of the injury.

The report revealed a full-thickness tear in the tendinous component of the lateral fibers of the triceps tendon.

Doctors noted that the torn fibers had retracted by nearly 3 cm, indicating a severe tendon rupture.

Rajat mentioned that the tear was initially about 2.8 cm, but it extended further while performing another task during the show.

Commitment to Completing the Show

Although doctors advised immediate surgery, Rajat decided to delay the procedure.

He explained that he wanted to honor his commitment to the show and finish the competition first.

After the shoot ended, he scheduled the surgery with his preferred doctor.

Rajat later confirmed that the operation went well and thanked fans for their support.

The 50 premiered on february 1 and features 50 celebrities living together in a palace-style environment.

Contestants compete in tasks while forming alliances and strategies to stay in the game.

The show has also featured shifting alliances involving participants like prince Narula, Faisal Shaikh, Nehal Chudasama, and Arushi.
