Modi acknowledged that the year is special as Rajinikanth has completed 50 years in films.

Rajinikanth marked five decades in the film industry this year.

At the 56th international Film festival of india (IFFI), he was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The actor became emotional during the ceremony and expressed gratitude, saying he would want to be born as an actor even in 100 lifetimes because of the love and respect he has received.

Despite working for 50 years, Rajinikanth shared that it still feels like only a few years have passed.
