Surveen Chawla had made many revelations about the casting couch in an interview given to Hotterfly. She had said that she had experienced it many times in the industry. She had said- 'Let me tell you a story of Veera Desai Road in Mumbai. After a meeting in the office cabin, he came to drop me off at the gate. I was married at that time. We had also talked about my husband in the meeting.'
Surveen had said in an interview that there was a time when there was a trend of casting couch.Due to which she lost many projects because I dared to say no. That period was very difficult because I had to sit quietly. I started thinking that I cannot do this. I have not come for this.

'When he came to the gate to say bye to me, he leaned towards me and tried to kiss me. I had to push him back. I was shocked and asked him what he was doing.
