Following a Mumbai boy's suicide, false rumors spread online claiming he was actress Resham Tipnis' son. Tipnis refuted the claims, confirming her son Manavis safe.

According to reports, the boy lived with his mother on the 51st floor of sea Brook Tower and argued about paying tuition. Upset after the disagreement, he reportedly left the apartment and jumped from a higher floor—believed to be the 57th, although this is still under confirmation.
A resident of the building witnessed the fall and immediately informed the boy’s mother. Emergency responders arrived quickly, and an Accidental Death Report (ADR) was filed by Kandivali police. No signs of foul play have been identified, but a routine inquiry is underway.
