According to PIB, to achieve this, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has adopted a strategy called 4E. Here E means - Education, Engineering (related to roads and vehicles), Enforcement, and Emergency Cases.
The government has started various initiatives related to these strategies and also keeps issuing notifications related to this from time to time.
