At that time, when rahman asked about changing his name, the astrologer suggested the names Abdul rahman and Abdul Rahim. AR rahman said, "He suggested the names Abdul rahman and Abdul Rahim. He said that any name would be fine for me. I liked the name Rahman. There was a Hindu astrologer who gave me my Muslim name.
