A big fraud has happened with bollywood actress Disha Patani's father. A group of 5 people had promised the actress's father Jagdish Singh Patani a high-ranking post in a government commission. In this connection, they cheated the actress's father of Rs 25 lakh. An FIR has been registered at Bareilly Kotwali police station on november 15 in the case of fraud with retired Deputy SP Jagdish Singh Patani.


Jagdish Patani said in the complaint that Shivendra Pratap Singh had introduced him to people named Diwakar Garg and acharya Jaiprakash. These accused had claimed that they had strong political connections and that they would get Jagdish Patani the post of chairman, vice chairman, or any other strong post in a government commission. With this promise, the accused took Rs 25 lakh from Patni.


Rs 5 lakh in cash and Rs 20 lakh transferred to the account.

Jagdish Patni has told the accused that he has given Rs 5 lakh in cash and Rs 20 lakh transferred to three different bank accounts. He said that the accused had promised to return the money if the work was not done for three months. But when Patani asked for the money back, he started threatening him.


Extortion case registered

According to PTI, Kotwali police station in-charge DK Sharma said, 'A case of fraud, criminal intimidation and extortion has been registered against Shivendra Pratap Singh, Diwakar Garg, acharya Jaiprakash of Juna Akhara, Preeti Garg and an unknown person. Efforts are on to arrest the accused and take strict action.'
