Singer-composer anirudh ravichander made a surprise appearance at a chennai theatre on the first day of Devara, delighting fans by transforming the screening into an impromptu concert. The film, released on september 27, stars jr ntr in the lead role, with Anirudh providing the film’s music.
As the audience buzzed with excitement, Anirudh took to the stage in the middle of the theatre to perform a couple of tracks from the film. Videos circulating online show the electrifying atmosphere, with fans cheering and singing along to his energetic performance.
In a recent promotional interview, Anirudh expressed his confidence in the film's success, stating, “Devara: Part 1 will definitely be a super hit in tamil too.” He shared his excitement about working in the telugu film industry, noting that this was only his fourth telugu film in over a decade, yet the love he received has been overwhelming. He added, “After working on the entire film and completing the background score, I know this movie is something special.”
Describing the film, Anirudh mentioned its unique setting and action-packed storyline, highlighting Jr NTR's impactful presence and director Koratala Siva’s compelling writing.
In addition to jr ntr, Devara features janhvi kapoor and Saif ali Khan, both making their debuts in the telugu film industry. The film has already garnered impressive ticket sales, worth ₹80 crore, indicating a promising opening day ahead.
