Then amitabh, while recalling the song sara Zamana, told that it was his suggestion that the song be shot in the stadium. At that time, Netaji subhash chandra Stadium was open in kolkata and it was very big. The plan was to shoot the song during the day. Around 50 thousand to 60 thousand people had come for the shooting. Whereas there was seating space for only 12 to 15 thousand people. The situation had become such that they had to stop the shooting and leave. Then amitabh suggested that the song will be shot secretly at night, without creating any buzz. After coming to Mumbai, a few days later, they quietly went to kolkata for shooting, hoping that there would be no crowd. The director gave the idea of putting candles on the seats so that it could look like an audience. We shot the song that night. After this, amitabh talked about his iconic costume 'Bijli Wala Costume'.

amitabh said- 'Technology was not very advanced at that time. And the light in his jacket was being controlled by a wire and that wire was in contact with electricity. As soon as the electricity came, I started dancing, not because I wanted to, but because I was getting electric shocks.'
