Case Against Actress Parvati Nair for Allegedly Harassing Domestic Help
Actress Parvati Nair, currently starring in GOAT alongside Thalapathy Vijay, is under investigation for allegedly abusing a domestic worker. The case was initiated following a complaint filed by the worker, subhash chandra Bose.
The complaint led to charges under sections 296(b), 115(2), and 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Bose, who previously worked at KJR Studios, was reportedly asked to become Parvati Nair's domestic help in 2022. During his tenure, several items, including a watch, laptop, camera, and mobile phone, went missing, prompting Nair to accuse him of theft.
Bose has since made serious allegations against Nair, claiming that upon returning to KJR Studios, she slapped him, while five others verbally abused him. After no action was taken, he approached the Saidapet Court, which led to the registration of an FIR against Nair and the others involved. An investigation is currently underway.
