Aahana Kumra is sitting idle for three years…?

Aahana Kumara is a well-known name on the OTT platform. She has worked in many successful shows. She appeared in Madhur Bhandarkar's 'India Lockdown' in 2022. Recently, the actress revealed about her struggles and told that she has not got any work for the last three years. Aahana Kumara also told that she has now started focusing her attention on production and recently launched her own production house to help pay her bills and keep things going.

Aahana Kumar is unemployed for 3 years

Actually, while talking to Hindustan Times, Aahana Kumar said, "I am not getting shows offered anymore. I have not received any offer for more than three years. No one is offering me anything. I used to work a lot on OTT but haven't done anything for so many years, and I have absolutely no problem with it. people do 1-2 shows a year, I can't even do that. I don't even know what's going on."

Aahana is now looking for other options to run the house

Aahana Kumara also expressed disappointment over the lack of opportunities for actors like her, as most film makers prefer to cast only A-listers. She said, "They (makers) want to go to a star or someone who charges less. I am considering alternate forms of cinema because I have to run my kitchen. I am trying to do something else in life."

Nothing to do with the tag of good actor

She further said, "Honestly, I have carried the tag of 'good actor' with me for a long time, now my work is done. If you are a good actor, no one gives you work, and I have no use for this tag of a good actor if I don't get work. I have to pay my bills!”

Ahana has opened her own production house

In the same conversation, she told that she has opened her own production house. The actress said, "As soon as we have something, I will be happy to announce it. We did a puja for the production house a few days ago. I will be making both OTT and theater projects, my whole focus is there, I am doing this from morning to evening.''
