Due to increasing cases of sexual harassment in the kannada industry, theKarnataka Women's Commission is preparing to conduct this secret survey. This survey will be conducted to investigate sexual harassment cases from its roots.

The sexual harassment controversy in the kannada film industry is continuously deepening. Now according to the latest information, karnataka Women's Commission is preparing to take an important step. According to reports, the karnataka Women's Commission is preparing to conduct a secret survey, so that it can be found out how big is the case of sexual harassment of women in the kannada film industry and how far it is connected.

This survey is being prepared at a time when there is continuous controversy over the news of atrocities against women in the film industry across the country. On the other hand, during the investigation of the malayalam film industry by the hema investigation committee, the kannada film industry has also prepared for a similar detailed investigation. 


To create a safer environment for women in the workplace, theKannada Film Chamber of Commerce is preparing to introduce PoSH i.e. Prevention of Sexual Harassment. This decision was taken during a meeting chaired by karnataka Women's Commission Chairperson Nagalakshmi Chaudhary. KFCC President suresh was also present in this meeting. 


These steps are very important for the safety of women.

During the meeting, Nagalakshmi Chaudhary stressed that the need for such committees increases even more in this environment. She said that such committees are very important to create a safe environment for women in the workplace. This meeting was based on the memorandum sent by an organization named Film industry for Rights and Equality. This organization, led by film director Kavita Lankesh, had demanded the formation of such a committee from the government. In which a demand has been made to hand over the investigation of cases related to sexual harassment in the kannada film industry to a retired judge.
