Tollywood’s Creativity On Imaginary Places

S Venkateshwari
Gotham City, which has qualities and reasons to remember, is a well-known fictional city from the popular Batman comic books and motion pictures. In a same vein, several hollywood productions built both historical and futuristic-looking new towns. For fans of the show, Kings Landing is an imaginative city they will never forget. This is the action that tollywood is taking.

We've heard of a lot of towns and cities recently that are designed as a fresh setting for those individual films, from the likes of Anjanadri (HanuMan) to Bhairavakona (Ooru peru Bhairavakona) to Chandraprastha (Saindhav). Similar towns and places like Kishkindapuri and Bhairavakonda will appear in a few of the forthcoming flicks. The main thing that these cities lack is that, despite the creators' heavy promotion of their latest inventions, somewhere the substance of those creations is being lived up to. A few months after the movie' debut, nobody can recall what those cities' specialties are.

None of the recently constructed cities by telugu filmmakers are having an influence, with the exception of Rajamouli's Mahishmathi (Baahubali). Our filmmakers ought to focus more on the distinctive and artistic aspects of those towns and villages so that their productions will go on in perpetuity.
