In a new promo for the upcoming dance Deewane episode, madhuri and Karisma can be seen recreating their popular data-face-off scene from the 1997 superhit romantic musical ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’. Both actors featured alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the movie, and as part of their rivalry, they got into an impromptu dance battle. The scene became a major hit among the fans and remains iconic.

Interestingly, several A-list actors from that period turned down offers to portray Karisma's character nisha in ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’ because they did not want to play the supporting part in a yash chopra film starring Shah Rukh and Madhuri. Eventually, Karisma decided to take the role after Kajol, Juhi Chawla, urmila matondkar, Manisha Koirala, and raveena tandon rejected it. The actor even bagged a National Award for her performance.
