Runtime Not A Big Worry For Family Star!

The next film "Family Star," starring the rising star Vijay Deverakonda, is scheduled to premiere on april 4. When dil raju disclosed the other day that the film had a duration of two hours and forty minutes, many have questioned whether this is an excessive length. Here's why the film's crew may be adopting a more deliberate strategy, though.

The duration of some recent hits in telugu theatres has been comparable. "Hanuman" had a duration of two hours and thirty minutes, "Naa Saami Ranga" was two hours and twenty-six minutes, and "Guntur Kaaram" was two hours and forty-three minutes. In these movies, Hanuman is shown standing at Blockbuster, followed by guntur Kaaram and Naa Saami Ranga, who converse in different ways. It appears that making good use of the additional time is crucial.

The "Family Star" crew is probably concentrating on having a good second half in order to achieve a significant emotional reward, according to insider information. Since devoted screen time helps emotional journeys unfold best, filmmakers are placing a higher priority on audience interaction in their work. Consider "Animal," which, despite having a three-hour and twenty-one-minute duration, grossed an incredible ₹900 crores in box office receipts.

Should "Family Star" present a gripping tale, its protracted duration may prove to be an asset, enabling the sentiments to be thoroughly felt. The movie opens in theatres on april 5.
