In China, mothers who inspire their children to pursue greatness and win Olympic gold are revered as "Tiger Moms." However, there is another group of well-known "Tiger Moms" in the South indian film industry, particularly in kollywood and Tollywood. Yes, we are referring to the moms of young movie heroes who have been in the industry for a long time, having left their traditional homes when their daughters decided to pursue careers as movie stars.
It could have worked well in a time when movie heroines were not given much respect or a vanity vehicle, much alone necessities like food.
