Bahubali is copied from a film..!? New Controversy..!?
A celebrity has claimed that Rajamouli's hit Baahubali was copied from a tamil film. Baahubali is a pan-Indian mass hit film directed by rajamouli in two parts. The film had prabhas as the hero and Rana Dagupathi as the villain. Also, in the film starring anushka shetty opposite prabhas, the character of ramya krishnan who played Sivakami Devi, and sathyaraj who played Kattappa was celebrated in a big way. Baahubali has met with some criticism even though the historical film has received an overwhelming response.
One of them is the copy controversy, according to which rajamouli stole some scenes from ponniyin selvan novel and used them in Baahubali. Apart from this, there were criticisms that some scenes from hollywood films were copied and used in Baahubali.
In a recent interview, director Thiagarajan, who has given some silver Jubilee films in tamil cinema, criticized Baahubali. Accordingly, he has alleged that the movie Baahubali was copied from his son Prashant's movie Ponnar Shankar. He also claimed that the film Kantara was copied. And Thiagarajan has said that Ponnar shankar film is also a reason for Prashanth's career downfall. Prashanth worked hard for the film for about 5 years and did not act in any other films. Thiagarajan says that the reason for the failure of the film, which is based on the book written by the artist, is that the film was not released at that time. It is noteworthy that the film was directed by Thiagarajan himself. Currently, actor Prashanth is acting in the movie GOAT with Vijay.
