'Shaitaan' broke the record of 'Golmaal Returns'

The craze of 'Shaitaan' is on the heads of the audience and hence the film is dominating the theatres. R madhavan and ajay Devgan starrer film is doing huge business not only on weekends but also on working days. 'Shaitaan' was released in theaters on march 8, 2024 and after its strong opening, the film is collecting crores of rupees at the box office every day. According to the report of Sacknilk, 'Shaitan' had done a business of Rs 14.75 crore on the first day. On the second day the film earned Rs 18.75 crore and on the third day the film's collection reached Rs 20.5 crore. Now the preliminary figures of the fourth day have also come out, according to which 'Shaitan' has earned Rs 2.41 crore so far.

Golmaal Returns defeated

'Shaitaan' had entered the Rs 50 crore club within three days of its release. The film has done a total business of Rs 56.41 crore in four days. With its four-day collection, 'Shaitaan' has defeated the lifetime collection of ajay Devgan's hit film Golmaal Returns. The film Golmaal Returns, released in 2008, had earned a total of Rs 51.12 crore at the domestic box office.

Starcast and story of the film

The thriller film 'Shaitaan' is also dominating worldwide. The film has collected Rs 75 crore in just three days. Janaki Bodiwala and jyothika are in important roles in R madhavan and ajay Devgan starrer film 'Shaitan'. In the film, R madhavan has appeared in a 'satanic' avatar, while ajay Devgan has appeared in the role of Kabir. R Madhavan's 'evil' character takes ajay Devgan's onscreen daughter (Janaki Bodiwala) under his control.
