Rajinikanth, wife Latha celebrate 43 years of togetherness
Today, february 27, marks Superstar Rajinikanth and his wife Latha Rajinikanth's 43rd wedding anniversary. Their younger daughter, soundarya Rajinikanth, posted a poignant message on X to commemorate the momentous occasion and offer her best wishes. She also included a cute photo of her parents with the message.
Rajinikanth and Latha can be seen standing next to one other in the photo, showing off their gold bracelets and rings. The 28th of february, 1981 saw the conventional marriage of Rajinikanth and his spouse. The couple's love journey, meanwhile, is nothing short of a fantasy. While filming 'Thillu Mullu' in 1980, Rajinikanth received word that a student wanted to interview him for a campus magazine. Rajinikanth met Latha Rangachari, his soulmate, at that point. For Rajinikanth it was love at first sight.
Rajinikanth realised he had discovered his soul mate when he was pulled to her. As the interview came to a conclusion, he made her a marriage proposal. Latha grinned and informed him that he must first speak with her parents. Rajinikanth discovered that Y G Mahendran, a close acquaintance, is linked to Latha.
Latha's parents accepted after she asked several industry elders for assistance, and the two were married in the Lord Venkateshwara temple in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The two daughters of the marriage are named aishwarya and Soundarya.
