Disaster Opening For 500 Cr Superstar

Rajinikanth, the superstar, is among the most well-known figures in indian film. With his last movie, Jailer, he created a hit that made over Rs 500 crore globally, but the state of his upcoming project is, to put it mildly, appalling. Rajini's next film will be Lal Salaam, which opens in tamil and telugu today, february 9.

However, the movie is in such bad shape that not many people are even aware that it is coming out. The other day, the caravan plummeted and no one noticed either. The producers chose not to worry about the telugu promotion leg and were content with a single event in Chennai.

Rajini’s name should be enough to get a film noticed even without any advertisements. But with Lal Salaam, that isn't taking place. Not many telugu people are even aware that Rajini directed one of these films, let alone when it was released. There was no director-wise buzz about the movie Jailer, which was directed by Nelson, as Aishwarya, Rajini's daughter, was directing it. From the first day of the movie, there was no suspense, and the disastrous opening is no different. In the telugu states, Lal Salaam would have very little opportunity, and the situation in tamil is even worse.
