Tollywood Has Highest Drug Usage
Srinivas Reddy, the recently appointed hyderabad city Commissioner of police, has begun his term on a stern note, cracking down on the telugu film industry while referring to drug use in the city.
"We have discovered that the film industry has the highest drug usage." Many lawsuits have been filed in the past, yet several actors continue to utilise narcotics. We're threatening them with the penalties if they don't come out of it alive. We would go to whatever length to ensure that hyderabad is a clean and drug-free city. Demand will fall as the film industry eliminates drug culture. There will be no drug influx if there is no demand. "Measures will be taken to ensure this," the new CP stated.
The police chief urged that leading film industry figures convene and work together to reduce drug use. He also stated that the police will initially hold counselling sessions with the film crew, and if that does not work, serious action will be taken against everyone involved.
Hyderabad is also a drug-free city, according to chief minister Revanth Reddy. hyderabad police are reportedly assembling rapid response teams to conduct speedy narcotics raids around the city. The new CP swore to crack down on drug culture and ultimately destroy it.
