Actor Sahil Khan applied for bail in Mahadev betting app case

Every day new revelations are being made in the Mahadev Betting App Case. Sahil Khan, an accused in the case

registered by mumbai police, who is an actor and model by profession, has applied for anticipatory bail in the

Mumbai sessions court. Opposing Sahil Khan’s ABA, Cyber police has filed a petition in the court against the

Accused’s pre-arrest bail application. According to cyber police, investigation is going on against Sahil and 31

other people. In this investigation, their bank accounts, mobile, laptop and all technical equipment are being

examined.

Police also presented their side

Police say that considering the scope of the investigation, the accused should not get any relief. Web portals like

betting apps, khiladi Book, 11xplay, Fairplay, Lotus365, reddy Anna and their subsidiaries were created.

Similarly, other gambling apps on sports like cricket, football have also been registered outside India. Citing that it

is an international syndicate, the cyber police has appealed to the court not to grant relief to the accused.

Mahadev App owner ravi uppal in custody

Ravi uppal, one of the two main owners of Mahadev online betting app, has been taken into custody by the local

police in dubai on the basis of a red Corner Notice issued by Interpol on the request of the Enforcement

Directorate (ED). Official sources gave this information on Wednesday. According to sources, uppal (43) was

detained last week and Enforcement Directorate officials are in touch with dubai authorities to bring him to India.


ED is investigating against uppal in a money laundering case related to alleged illegal betting. Apart from the

Directorate, the crime branch of chhattisgarh and mumbai police are also investigating.
