marriage. Troubled by her husband's actions, roopa ganguly had at one time decided to end her life. In an


interview, the actress herself admitted that she had tried to commit suicide thrice. She said that I tried many

times to kill myself but god saved me every time. Despite all the efforts of Rupa, when her relationship with

her husband did not remain good, the actress decided to divorce her husband Dhubro in 2006.
