Rakul Preet says the Difference between Bollywood and Regional Films...
She says that the spirit of tenacious perseverance is what takes one to the top, not language. "I think it's just perseverance and doing something that you love to do," she said, explaining that there is no clear solution to it. There are no language limitations, and there is never a correct response. I believe it's a constant state of effort and the willingness to give up personal time. I believe all you really need is a strong sense of enthusiasm for what you do, a strong work ethic, and the willingness to put in the additional time and effort. And I have that going for me. That's what I believe I'm willing to accomplish, and it's what sustains me."
She clarifies, saying that occasionally one desire to collaborate with a specific director, at other times with a specific actor, and at others one is so enamored with the screenplay that one wish to be a part of the narrative. That's always it for me. Regional hindi and hindi are the same thing. I'm quite happy that movie theatres nowadays don't have limitations. As an actor, my goal is to select a screenplay that excites me for any of the above-mentioned reasons. I follow my instincts when I'm unsure if I want to direct a movie."
