Reportedly ahead of the release of her much-awaited action drama Tejas, kangana ranaut on tuesday visited the Statue of Unity near Kevadia in gujarat to pay her respects to India's first Deputy prime minister and home minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. 'When the statue was revealed to me in the car, this BGM (Vande Mataram instrumental) started playing in my head. "The tallest statue in the world is a 70-story building," he wrote in the story. Directed by Sarvesh Mewara, tejas tells the story of a fictional indian Air Force pilot. Bankrolled by Ronnie Screwvala, the film stars Anshul Chauhan, varun Mitra, ashish vidyarthi and Vishak Nair in lead roles and will hit the screens on october 27.
