"I Wish to Play..." - Mehreen Pirzada

With the new Disney+ Hotstar series sultan of Delhi, mehreen pirzada, who made her hindi cinema debut with Phillauri in 2017, is ready to return to the language after a six-year hiatus. In the meantime, mehreen was making waves in tamil and telugu film, where she established herself. "I've always thought that South indian films have better cinematography. mehreen thanks the telugu cinema business for receiving her with open arms, saying, "I am happy that the industry recognises love for the craft over language barriers."

After 24 films and six years, mehreen is making a comeback to hindi cinema with sultan of Delhi, directed by the famous Milan Luthria. "I play Sanjana, Tahir raj Bhasin's love interest, and then due to certain circumstances, tie the knot with the antagonist, played by Nishant Dahiya," she says, giving additional insight into her role in the next series. Nishant's persona and Tahir's arjun Bhatia are rivals seeking to become the sultan of Delhi."

Mehreen was able to wear the best clothing selections from that era because she was a fashionista in the 1960s-set television series. "My look was inspired by a combination of Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe," mehreen explains, noting that her clothing were meticulously tailored to match her character's aristocratic heritage. She describes a set occurrence, saying, "First, Milan gentleman chose to go with a dark red lip, similar to Monroe. But my character is also quite sensitive, which the maroon lipstick failed to portray. They thus chose soft pink hues. Milan gentleman was engaged at every stage, and decisions such as these were considered very carefully to make sure my character's design adhered to his vision."

Mehreen is certainly busy with shows and films set for release in several languages and media. She does, nevertheless, provide information concerning a character that will likewise fill her heart. "In her biography, I would like to portray Madhubala. I've had her picture as my phone's background for years, and a lot of people have said that I kind of look like the seasoned actor. In addition, I hope to portray a legendary figure in the near future," she says.
