In the footage that went viral on social media, ananya is shown walking into the venue wearing a stunning off-the-shoulder black gown. She is approached by a fan who touches her without asking permission in order to take her photo. Even though ananya is clearly uncomfortable, she keeps her composure and keeps posing for the photographers.

Aahana talked about the event later in an interview with Hindustan Times, saying, "I agreed for a picture but I was like, 'Sorry, you can't touch me.'" It seemed strange in a way. Since people see us virtually every day as public personalities with our lives on social media, they assume we are extremely approachable. The lines might get hazy at times. We don't know them, yet they believe they know us. I think there needs to be a data-border upheld," she continued.
