Fraud case filed against Latha Rajinikanth!? Decision given..?
The Bengaluru court, which heard the fraud case filed against Superstar Rajinikanth's wife Lata Rajinikanth, has given a swift verdict. Superstar Rajinikanth's film 'Kochadaiyaan' is directed by his daughter soundarya Rajinikanth. This film was produced by murali on behalf of media One Entertainment. It seems that he was given a loan of about 6.2 crores by Abhir Chand from Ad Bureau. murali was unable to pay back the loan amount due to the release of the film and incurred huge losses. And since Lata Rajinikanth has signed the documents of the contract as a guarantee for this film, Abhirchand from Ad Bureau filed a case in the Bengaluru high court in 2015 claiming that Lata Rajinikanth should return the amount borrowed by Murali. The investigation related to this has been going on for more than eight years. After investigating the case, the police registered a case against Lata Rajinikanth under sections 196, 199, 420, 463 of the indian Penal Code and filed a chargesheet. Lata Rajinikanth had again filed a petition in the karnataka high court seeking to quash the charges against her in the charge sheet. The court heard this petition and said that the 3 sections against Lata Rajinikanth, including 196, 199 and 420, were not submitted under 3 sections. It also said that the lower court can hear the case under section 463 against him. Lata Rajinikanth again appealed to the supreme court seeking dismissal of this case as well.
The hearing on this appeal was held today. The court that heard the case then allowed the Bengaluru court to proceed with the fraud case against Lata Rajinikanth. It has also ordered that Lata Rajinikanth may file a petition in the Bengaluru court seeking acquittal in the fraud case and has allowed both parties to resolve the issue through mediators.
