Music director turned actor Vijay Antony’s daughter, meera, died by suicide at their residence during the early hours of Tuesday. The young girl, who was studying 12th standard at a private school in Chennai, was 16 years old. vijay antony and his wife Fathima had two daughters, meera and Lara.
According to reports, the class 12 student was under stress, which made her take the extreme step. It is reported that at around 3 o'clock in the morning, when her father looked in the bedroom, he saw that she was hanging, having used her dupatta to hang herself from the fan's hook. He apparently took her down with the help of the house staff and took her to kaveri hospital, where she was declared dead.
The unfortunate incident has come as a shock to everyone known to the family and also to the entire film fraternity.
