At Papya thanda in narsapur mandal of medak district on friday, two men were bound to a tree for suspicion of practising black magic. Nunavath bhaskar and Katroth bhaskar travelled to the village to visit one of their relatives in Pedda Chintha Kunta, a village in the same mandal. The guys, however, are said to have been seen spreading kumkum (vermilion), turmeric, lemons, and green chilli throughout the village on thursday night. The people assumed they were black magic practitioners when they saw the spectacle.
Numerous villagers gathered in the early hours of friday after hearing the news, caught Nunavath and Katroth, and then tied them to a tree. The local elders reported the event to the police and turned them over.
