Oscar Award winning filmmaker Guneet Monga is once again in the news for Kill. Recently, when she
reached the Toronto international Film festival, she talked about the film The Lunch Box. Which has
completed 10 years. Late actor irrfan khan was seen in this film. Recalling that period, Guneet revealed that
she had no money at all before the premiere of the film at the Cannes Film Festival.
Guneet Monga shared the story of The Lunchbox
Guneet had said, “We made The Lunchbox very honestly, when the film was going to Cannes Film festival, I
was very excited. But we did not have money to go to Cannes.. Even Irrfan Sir At that time we were very
nervous even in booking the room. Then suddenly our sales agent had another big film. Whose actress refused
to come to Cannes and we got her luxury room for free and we gave it to Irrfan sir.”
