Rajinikanth's Jailer earned an all-India gross of Rs 162 crore in its 4-day weekend. It is gearing up for another big boost with the Independence Day holiday on august 15. Sunny Deol's 'Gadar' managed to collect more than Rs.150 crores within 3 days of its release. Directed by Anil Sharma, the film became a blockbuster hit collecting over Rs 80 crore in just 2 days. The reason for this is the mass theaters across the country. Jailer is expected to be one of the highest-grossing films of the year along with the upcoming holiday season. Akshay Kumar's A-rated OMG 2 opened its first weekend at Rs. 39 crores earned. The film had a slow start at the box office. But good reviews have led to a boost at the box office due to great word of mouth. Last weekend at the box office, Chiranjeevi's 'Bhola Shankar' collected Rs. 20 crores earned. All the indian heroes brought the audience to the theaters and filled the industry with new energy. The wisdom that has been missing for a long time is now visible. A large audience is responding. Early morning shows are getting a house full. Last month, christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer-Margot Robbie-Ryan Gosling starrer Greta Gerwig's Barbie raked in over Rs 100 crore at the indian box office over the weekend.
