The duo has been married for a long time, and after eleven years of marital bliss, they are now hopped onto parenthood with their daughter. Taking to his IG handle, megastar, chiranjeevi shared the good news of the arrival of his granddaughter. The doting grandfather called Ram's daughter, 'Little Mega Princess' and penned a heartfelt note. Sharing how happy and proud he is, chiranjeevi wrote:

"Welcome Little Mega Princess !! You have spread cheer among the mega family of millions on your arrival as much as you have made the blessed parents @AlwaysRamCharan & @upasanakonidela and us grandparents, Happy and Proud!!"

In the video, the proud grandparents could be seen delighted with the arrival of little lakshmi in their mega family. The actor looked dapper as he opted for a white shirt and paired it with beige-coloured pants. surekha, on the other hand, looked elegant in a pink-hued saree. In the video, we can see chiranjeevi having an interaction with the hospital staff and his wife.

Earlier in an interview with ETimes, upasana revealed that she and ram have decided to move into Chiranjeevi's house. Sharing the reason behind the same, the new mommy stated that it is important to let a kid grow up while living with the grandparents. Elaborating more on the same, She said:

"A lot of couples move out when they have kids, but we are doing just the opposite. We are living by ourselves now, but we are going to move back with Ram’s parents. We both were brought up in a setup where our grandparents played a huge role in our upbringing. We don’t want to deprive our child of that joy. So, we have taken a conscious call to move back with his parents and raise the child together. Also, we both are working professionals, and having their support is extremely important."
