Failed In Tamil Then, Hindi Now
For those who are unaware, "Bloody Daddy" is a remake of the 2011 French movie "Nuit Blanche" (Sleepless Night in English). The movie was originally intended for universal actor kamal haasan to make as Thoonga Vanam (Cheekati Rajyam in Telugu), but it was released in tamil in 2015 and failed to find an audience. After eight years, bollywood decided to remake this movie and created "Bloody daddy," which is not generally regarded as a masterpiece.
Actually, the hero's desire to protect his son from a drug lord and the importance of the lost bag make up the film's sole emotional high point. Although there are well-designed action moments in both Shahid's Bloody daddy and Kamal's Cheekati Rajyam, this straightforward theme isn't really working. These action sequences don't even come close to having the same "wow" factor as john Wick's, which is why people are currently obsessed with it. Additionally, the screenplay lacks both urgency and an exciting edge-of-the-seat factor. We'll just have to wait and see how many more indian tinsel towns adapt this French action thriller.
