Neeta also revealed how her elder son akash keeps reminding her that she is not a mother. Calling herself a modern grandmother, Neeta said that as a parent, she does not interfere in her children's work. In her words, "Aakash keeps telling me, 'Mother, you have to remember you are not a mother.' But I'm as practical as any grandmother wants to be, while also giving the parent enough space to do her own thing, so luckily I no longer have to discipline her, that's the parent's job. With my kids, I was very conscious. Now my job is to give them unconditional love."

Neeta Ambani spoke on giving the heritage of culture to the children

In the same interview, Neeta also talked about her kids Akash, Isha, and Anant. When asked if his children imbibe the values of humility and down-to-earth like him? To this, Neeta replied that her children are very down to earth. Neeta revealed that she and her husband have raised their children with middle-class values. Furthermore, Neeta also said that as grandparents it is her and Mukesh's responsibility to transfer high values and principles to their grandchildren.

Neeta said that she and her husband are best friends and they share the same values. Neeta said, "I feel we are the best of friends. We share very similar values. There is no conflict between us. We have an intergenerational home. My mother-in-law, my mother, us, my daughter-in-law, and my grandchildren all live in the same house. mukesh and I are similar. I feel we have shared dreams for India."
