The teaser of 'Ugram' has caught everyone's attention in the trailers. It seemed that this violent angle in naresh would be the highlight of the movie. But for the story shown in this, naresh was not able to look so violent. Also, from the point of view of the story, Naresh's characterization is a little minus. director Vijay Kanakamedala chose a different story from the usual routine in his first film 'Naandi'.

He made the story well and thick with interesting twists to keep the audience guessing. But it was a little difficult to put Naresh's character in a commercial sense, giving an angry look to what happened in that story. Naresh's character is shown as usual. In terms of the story, the movie 'Ugram' is reminiscent of 'Yashoda' which came out a few months ago.

In it, the story revolves around a gang that does a big medical scam in the name of surrogacy. The way this kidnapping is done,  the way chosen for it, the way the hero solves it and all these also seem interesting. Although the advantage that the gang gets with these kidnapped people does not seem so believable, the story keeps the interest of the audience till the end. If not, there is a chance of being a good thriller in 'Ugram', the unnecessary elevations of the hero.

The hero is in tension about what happened to his wife and children.  Naresh's character is also not impressive. He behaves in a thoughtless manner. There is no logic in it.  In commercial movies, it is understandable if the hero kills the villains as a comedy, but in a movie that follows the story realistically, it does not make sense to take a gun and shoot four people while pretending to have abused his wife. Throughout the film, Naresh's character is also unnaturally seen with unnecessary rage.

In terms of looks, no matter how well naresh tries to do a makeover, it is difficult to see him so violently. The hero's way of solving the kidnapping plot was interesting for the most part. It feels like watching a different movie as long as it is connected. In spite of some flaws and the feeling of watching a movie with content is felt in the end. There is no need to regret watching 'Ugram'.
