Oscars 95 - Standing Ovation for Naatu Naatu Performance
An overwhelming amount of people watched the eagerly anticipated Naatu Naatu dance performance at the Oscars. The dancers' group nailed it with flawless timing and by using the exact moves from the Naatu Naatu song by prem Raksith. The original soundtrack's vocals were replicated by singers rahul Simpligunj and kaala bhairava, while more than 20 dancers mesmerized the audience with their breathtaking moves and energizing energy.
The audience at the Oscars loved the song and got up to dance when it was done. Standing ovations were given at the Oscars for the enthusiasm and the song. In her introduction to the song, deepika padukone referred to it as "a complete banger" and the "first song from an indian production to ever be nominated for an Oscar."
