"Pathaan," Shah Rukh Khan's most recent film, continues to rule the indian box office. According to bollywood buzz, the action-thriller made Rs. 529.7 crore locally and Rs. 1027 crore internationally. The hindi version of the movie has now broken the record set by "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion," which was Rs 511 crore nett. yash Raj Pictures lowered ticket prices to Rs 110 nationwide and instituted a buy-one-get-one-free promotion in an effort to further increase sales.

Pathaan continues to be the top pick for audiences despite the weak competition provided by recent releases "Selfiee" and "Shehzada". Although "Shehzada," starring Kartik Aaryan, has barely scraped beyond Rs 30 crore in two weeks, "Selfiee," featuring Akshay Kumar, has allegedly generated only Rs 13.7 crore as it enters its second weekend.

The sales of "Pathaan" could be impacted by the imminent release of Luv Ranjan's "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar," which is expected to gross Rs 1 crore on its 38th day of release. In spite of this, "Pathaan" has shattered records and is still unstoppable at the box office. Baahubali producer also shared the same post and congratulated the team for breaking the box office records after 6 years and he said records are meant to be broken.
