Young Hero - Something Cooking now ?
Many believed that this film would be the end of his hit-woes because of its powerful emotional impact, contrary to what the "Kalyanam Kamaneeyam" trailer had implied. However, due to its terrible plot, this movie ultimately failed to perform well at the box office. And for this reason, everyone is talking about Santosh Shoban and why he needs to change his ways right away.
While Manchi Rojulu Vachayi and Like Share Subscribe failed miserably at the box office due to the extreme routineness of their films, Ek mini Katha is doing somewhat better after being distributed directly on an OTT platform. Even after these two movies, many people believed Santosh would come up with something fresh and original, but his Kalyanam Kamaneeyam is just another boring story that doesn't engage the audience or provide any thrill.
According to the movie's trailer, some people anticipated Ki and Ka movie-style sequences, while others thought it would be a 7/G Brindavan Colony-style treat. However, except from certain short film content, there is nothing in the movie that could genuinely thrill the audience. Many people question why, if not for the money he is receiving, this heroic figure is choosing to take on these banal stories.
Santosh needs to alter the way he chooses stories to tell, regardless of how many films he still has in production. Top actors like chiranjeevi and balakrishna might benefit from common tales, but young people see little value in them. It's best to abandon such films if the plot lacks a distinguishing element or an interesting screenplay. I hope the young hero interpreted that.
