At the 28th Critics Choice Awards, james Camron's "Avatar: The Way of Water" defeated S.S. Rajamouli's "RRR" to win Best Visual Effects. Cameron's "Avatar: The Way of Water" won the Best Visual Effects award, according to "Variety."
