Avatar 2 Box Office - James Cameron's film is unbeatable
On december 16, Avatar: The Way of Water by james cameron became available everywhere. The avatar sequel broke the record for the fastest movie to earn $1 billion at the global box office. The movie continues to have a strong box office performance worldwide, particularly in India. Even though it is New Year's Eve on december 31, the movie keeps moving forward at a steady pace in India.
Early estimates indicate that the movie made close to Rs. 12.50 crore on december 31. The number is higher than Friday's receipts. The entire revenue for Avatar: The Way of Water is Rs. 316.75 crores. If the streak continues, the movie will be able to top Avengers Endgame's estimated Rs. 367 crore indian domestic gross.
In theatres across the globe, Avatar: The Way of Water is playing with great success in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. When asked in an exclusive interview if he was aware of the enormous popularity of avatar in india, sam responded that he most certainly is. He said, "Yes, without a doubt. We really enjoyed discovering how the first movie related, though. I believe it continues to startle us all. But the fact that so many people in india enjoyed the movie and, hopefully, will like the follow-up makes us feel quite humbled.
