The year 2022 turned out to be a terrific one for subtitled movies. At least one dubbing film comes to mind when we think of the top three movies of the year. Comparatively speaking, several dubbed movies performed better than the original movies. The first dubbing to be mentioned this year is KGF2. This movie has so far had the highest box office success in Tollywood. The movie performed better at the box office than many straight movies. To lessen the impact of this movie, other movies were also pushed back. With no change in expectations, KGF2 brought in more money than KGF1.

The triumph of KGF2 was widely predicted, but Kantara was a surprise victor. Without any anticipation, the movie demolished the box office. The movie first had a successful run in Kannada, and to prolong its success, it was later released in telugu and Hindi. With this movie, Rishab Shetty rose to national prominence, and the song Varaharoopam went on to become the year's biggest classical success.

Love Today, a youth-targeted dubbed movie, is another one to be addressed in this vein. social media and cellphones are prominent themes in the movie. The treatment was delivered in the funniest possible way, connecting with the young audience to demonstrate its effectiveness. Another successful dubbed movie this year is avatar 2. The 13-year-old film Avatar's sequel performed spectacularly well at the box office. For the movie, the takings are still consistent. The movies that can be named as hits of the year among the dubbed movies are Sardar and Vikrant Rona.
In addition to this, the dubbed movies also include a few duds. The kashmir Files, PS-1, and Brahmastra did poorly in Telugu.
