₹300 Cr Worth Salman Khan Didn’t Help Godfather?

megastar Chiranjeevi's "Godfather" earned more than 2.5 crores "gross" from the bollywood box office on its first day of release, according to official figures released by the producers. Even though megastar hasn't done much to advertise the movie in bollywood, it should draw large audiences because Superstar salman khan has a guest role in it.

Trade analysts claimed that despite the movie being screened on more than 500 screens, "Godfather" failed to gross even one crore rupees on its first day in Hindi-speaking regions. What good is it to cast salman khan, who is worth $300 crore, in a supporting role if the movie can't even make $1 million on its opening day? Many people nowadays still wonder that. Salman's celebrity could undoubtedly aid Godfather attention and collecting, since his flicks effortlessly garner such incredible sums of money.

It seems that chiru and salman convened a press conference in mumbai to introduce the song Taar Maar Thakkar Maar and anticipated that "Godfather" would have a successful debut there as well. salman even posted a video at the same time thanking chiru for the film's universally excellent reviews on his social media platforms. All of these factors, however, did not assist Godfather garner strong box office results, and few bollywood critics shared a review of the movie at all.

Bollywood theatrical figures, according to trade circuits, will only be strong if a movie is heavily promoted at a cost of millions of rupees. In spite of receiving positive buzz, the recent movie vikram Vedha, which starred hrithik roshan and saif ali khan in the key parts, only brought in $55+ crores net in the first six days of its release. This is a result of poor marketing by the film's producers.
