Back in 90s, writers used to pen scripts on sets
Actress madhuri dixit Nene recently discussed the changes she has seen in recent years regarding how the hindi film industry, also known as Bollywood, has changed over time. madhuri dixit Nene is preparing for her streaming movie "Maja Ma." The actor, who portrays a Gujarati housewife in the movie, stated to IANS: "Except for a few productions like yash Raj Films, Subhash Ghai's production, or Rajshri Production, which were quite organised in their approach, the hindi cinema business used to be very disorganised and fragmented. But now that the corporate culture has been highlighted in the movies, things are much more organised."
She continued by pointing out how the industry has begun to treat writing, the foundation of any film, seriously. "It was unheard of earlier in the 1990s, but now we have table reading sessions with our other cast members. Just before a shot was to be fired, we used to get dialogue on the spot." She said, "We used to wait for the writer to finish his dialogues, who would say from some corner of the set, "Haan madam bas 2 minute mein likh ke deta hoon (Just 2 minutes and your dialogues would be done, Ma'am)" to give her statement a funny undertone.
The actress claimed that things have improved, which enables indian cinema compete on the international arena where productions are faultless and of six-sigma quality. "Today, we are provided with a bound script that outlines everything in minute detail, including what to dress in each scene and how to pitch the characters. These specifics really aid an actor in getting ready for a scene and delivering work that the audience would adore." The release of "Maja Ma" on Prime Video is scheduled for october 6.
