Director: Se*ologists do great service to society

The creator of the upcoming OTT offering "Dr Arora-Gupt Rog Visheshagya," bollywood filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, has a great deal of respect for the sexology profession and believes that physicians practising in this area of medicine are providing invaluable services to society. The story of its title character, a sexologist who treats his patients with the utmost honesty while upholding the ethical standards required by his profession, is told in "Dr. Arora-Gupt Rog Visheshagya." kumud mishra has played the series' main role throughout.


Imtiaz expressed his opinions at a press conference for the show's promotion, saying, "These doctors are doing amazing work for society because they operate in the background given the taboo associated with the concept of sexuality." He explained his reasoning and gave his opinion: "To see an orthopaedic, you approach them if you have a fracture. But one must maintain a very low profile while discussing sexual disorders or diseases."


The filmmaker, who is known for his unconventional stories like "Tamasha," "Rockstar," or the more mainstream "Jab We Met," explained the origin of the story to the media, saying, "Back when I was in college and used to go back to delhi from jamshedpur after vacations, from the window seat of my train ride back to delhi, I remember seeing advertisements of sexologists."
