Box office Collection day 1: Last friday saw a clash of two films at the box office. R Madhavan's film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect and Aditya Roy Kapoor's film OM: The Battle Within were released on 1 July i.e. Friday. The first-day box office collection figures of both the films have come out, which clearly shows that people have liked R Madhavan's film more than Aditya's film.

The film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect draws on the life of former scientist Nambi Narayanan, involved in espionage charges. Speaking of earning, on the first day, the movie made deals of about Rs 1.50 crore the day it opened, winning well.


On the other hand, bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur's film Om was also released on the big screen on July 1. sanjana sanghi also appeared in the lead role in this film directed by Kapil Verma. Talking about earnings, the film earned less than Madhavan's film on the first day.

Om has done a business of Rs 1.20 on an opening day. Trade analyst says that this film will not be able to show much amazing even on weekends. Apart from Aditya Roy Kapur, Jackie Shroff, Ashutosh Rana, Prakash Raj, and Prachi Shah Pandya are also in the lead roles in the film.
