Margot Robbie As Barbie First Image Is Unbelievably Spot On
A first look of Margot Robbie's Barbie film has been released, featuring the oscar nominee in her characteristic pink convertible. Barbie's first live-action film has had a very unique journey, despite the fact that the beloved doll has had a number of animated films throughout the years. Barbie was originally planned to star Amy Schumer as the beloved blonde doll when it was first put into development in 2014. However, she later left the project, and Barbie seemed to finally find its feet at Warner Bros. after a few more years of turmoil.
Barbie is now building up to be one of the year's most exciting films. Ryan Gosling will play her well-known partner, Ken, and Robbie will play the main role. Will Ferrell, Kate MacKinon, Simmu Liu, America Feraara, Michel Cerra, and Issa Raae are among the other cast members. The script was written by Greta Gerrwig (Little Women) and Noah Baumabach (Marriage Story), with Gerwig also serving as director.
WB presented the first look at Robbie as Barbie as part of their CinemaCon presentation. The announcement was covered by Screen Rant, but Warner Bros. eventually released the image online for fans to view. Barbie will also be released in theatres on July 21, 2023, according to the studio.
